I looked at a wrecked 750 Gixxer tonight that was literally broken in half, right in the middle of that beefy aluminum frame. There was not a reusable part on that bike. Guy and his girlfriend on the bike were wearing gear and walked away with minor injuries.

Seeing the two of them standing there next to that corpse of a bike made a pretty strong argument for gear.

Sounds pretty scary! Glad that everybody made it out ok:thumbsup

Somebody turned left in front of them as they were traveling 50-55 mph. The cops said they both flew 50 feet from the point of impact. I saw some pics of the aftermath on the chick's I-phone, it looked like a plane crash site.

Be careful out there!

See, there were reusable parts. In such cases I bet part of the front fork may make a great bludgeon.
